Me: Not mine.

Him: Some people are meant to be used.

Me: Not me.

Him: I’m sure there’s a time when you were used.

Me: Well not now that’s for sure.

We all get used some point in time. And for the most part all of us never stop being used. When I say “used” I don’t mean ABused, I mean just used for whatever we have to offer to whoever needs it. Teachers, brothers, employees, children, etc. But there are times when we’re used to benefit someone else and we’re the only one out of the give-n-take relationship that’s gettin’ got.

I’ve been used before. I got got before and I didn’t even know it until it was over. Shit sucks right down to the bottom of your feet. But I’d say I’m a better person for it and I can see that I was supposed to have gone through it. Now it’s easy to say but I’m 100% sure at the time I couldn’t see it, and what I could see I wouldn’t believe.

My life is young though, so who knows, it may happen again. I hope not. But you never know what may happen down the road.

…this all sounded better in my head…now not so much. Aight, I’m gunna leave you with this. It’s something I thought up today for no apparent reason but it fits my frame of mind right now.

I have never lost anything I was supposed to have.
